Safety information

Tretinoin is a prescription-strength topical medication commonly used to treat acne, fine lines, and sun-damaged skin. Start with a low concentration and apply a pea-sized amount once daily, preferably at night, to clean, dry skin. Avoid the eyes, lips, and corners of the nose.

Mild irritation, dryness, redness, or peeling is common during the first few weeks. Use a gentle cleanser and apply moisturizer regularly. Always apply sunscreen during the day, as tretinoin increases sensitivity to sunlight.

Do not use tretinoin if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding unless advised by a healthcare provider. Avoid combining it with other irritating skincare products, such as exfoliants or alcohol-based toners.

If severe irritation or an allergic reaction occurs (e.g. swelling, blistering, or intense burning), discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.

Use only as directed by a licensed provider. Store at room temperature and keep out of reach of children.
